More Non-club night events?!?!

I would like to know what the louisville homies think about non- club orientated events. I like to see the Goth scene up and at em, and out there in public. You know, letting the city know we exist, and of course hanging out and doing whatever.

I thought the picnic was a success, and hopefully Pita hut dinner turns out well too! If you have any suggestions on what you would like to see put together, or what restaurants we should try out, or art gallery's, plays, whatever, tell me!! We need more exposure! Plus, its always a fun time.

Just an idea I just had right now... I know we often have post-goth-night meals, what if we were to plan some PRE-goth-night get togethers on occasion? Have a few people meet up, grab a bite and go dancing afterward? Do you think we'd get sick of each other?

yeah, i always think about that. but then i always think about, well, if i eat now, im going to eat again later. lol. so double the food!!

Anyway, to return to relevance, I usually eat once before going anyway. Then again, I eat before I do anything.

The only reason we haven't really done anything like that yet is because we usually have school until 7:00PM. Theres not a whole lot of time to go eat out, then rush to set up at the venue. I guess since its on fridays we should have more leeway now.

I'm totally down for more "extracurricular" events, lol. Like, even just bowling at Hellhouse was a lot of fun, and that was just doing something slightly different. Not that what we do now isn't fun. It was just a nice added perk.

mark never goes to school so i doubt pre-event meet ups would be an issue.

also, everyone eating then going dancing would probably lead to disturbing amounts of desecration to the club's toilets.

did the monthly goth meet ups die off?

That sounds really cool. I love to hang out, and just be out and about in the city, with all my buddies.

BOWLING!!!! I am SO down for bowling!!! Yea, I think these meet ups are a swell idea. I hereby promise to try and show up to more. Very sad I missed the picnic. But seriously, think about the bowling...

Anyone thought about a roller skate night?

I'm not sure about bowling...ya know, ever since Camper Van Beethoven started taking skinheads bowling, alleys have become tough places to hangout...

I mean, I was at a bowling alley once when a league night was wrapping up and some guy pulled a gun on some hippie saying he was "...over the line, mark it at zero" to this Dude when the hippie was telling that same Dude to "Mark it at 8..." The guy with the gun looked like John Goodman and was screaming things about The Vietnam War and how "this isn't Vietnam!!! Dammnit there are rules!!!"

Anywho, I'd probably take the bowling over skating, since bowling might be less hazardous to my health, but I'd give either a try.

i think i saw those guys... they were drinking some oat sodas... then the dude in the purple jumpsuit making out with the bowling ball...

I can't help it I've never seen The Big Lebowski...

considering that the lebowski fest started here and is here every year, how can you as a citizen of this grand metropolis not have viewed the big lebowski? i mean, they even have dream sequences about a bowling themed porn flick.
